Process Engineering Group:

The Group proposes the realization of diploma theses in the field of Chemical Engineering within the following projects:

  • Role of biosurfactants in the formation of ordered micro- and nano-structures of calcium carbonates.
  • Study on the properties of iron and copper nanoparticles synthesized by means of catechin and gallic acid.
  • Synthesis and physicochemical properties of new chiral ionic liquids based on natural components.
  • Stability of three-phase water-particle-oil system.
  • Synthesis and physicochemical characteristics of novel hybrid polyelectrolyte microcapsules with entrapped unicellular algae.
  • Modelling of the dry powder coating in the modified Wurster apparatus.
  • Synthesis and physicochemical and mechanical characterization of three-dimensional composite structures laden with antimicrobial agents

  • Modeling the texture of porous activated carbons from various precursors
  • Composites of graphene with activated carbons, conductive polymers, metal oxides and sulphides for electrochemical capacitors
  • Synthesis of graphene materials (graphene oxides and reduced graphene oxides)
  • Synthesis of nitrogen enriched graphene materials
  • N-graphene as electrochemical sensors
  • Carbon materials for lithium-ion cells
  • Synthesis of cinnamaldehyde derivatives
  • Removal of organic pollutants from water on activated carbons
